Achievements:
The scope was defined to be a mixture of activities such as maintenance, repair, reconditioning and refurbishing of about 600 sets of different types of electric machines for locomotives. They include GE/EMD traction generator, 752/761 GE traction motors, old DC generators, Auxiliary generators and Dynamic Braking Fans. Engineering management duties of the project dealt with all technical and quality scopes such as preparing and establishing technical guidelines and procedures.

Achievements:
A series of duties were done for 100 units of Dynamic Braking Resistors. Inspection, repair, insulator replacement, electric circuit reconditioning and assembling were parts of the scope for this project which have been delivered successfully.

Achievements:
D77 Traction Motor is a 550kW 750VDC electric machine for EMD locomotives.
Full reconditioning was carried out for 100 units of these traction motors for RAI. Replacement of the windings (formed coils), internal insulators and shaft were main scope. Duties such as technical documents for procedures, processes, quality and engineering support were allocated to Engineering Management.
